Reflecting on my Branding Photo Shoot

I truly can’t tell you how much these photos from my branding shoot with Hannah Acheson Photography meant to me! 🥹💖🥳🥂

Not only was it just seriously the BEST day and Hannah 100% captured my personality and more for my business perfectly… but beyond the pink, sparkles and confetti it meant even more to me. This shoot was truly a celebration of how far I’ve come in the last 2 years since branching out on my own.

2 years ago, right at this time, I was in the midst of my business partner leaving our first business and in the middle of having to make some really tough decisions about the next steps in my career. Stack that on top of also still being in the middle of a pandemic and a really tough chapter for my family and it was a heavy time. It felt like a lot back then… but looking back sometimes I wonder how I was even functioning through it all.💖It’s pretty miraculous of what we’re capable of when we’re in survival mode though.

Looking back, starting over and launching Going Bold Studio ended up being the absolute BEST decision I ever made in my career… but back then I was terrified. I didn’t have a crystal ball and while I had high hopes, I really couldn’t see what the future for my business looked like. I had found success in my first business, was confident in my skills, and already had 5 years of being an entrepreneur under my belt… but I had serious doubts if I could do it again… by myself. I tried looking on the bright side… but I cannot tell you how many tears I cried and how many sleepless nights I had wondering if I was making the right decision.

As it turns out, I quickly learned I was never going to be truly alone in that journey. Even if I was now a solo business owner, I had a fiancé (now husband!), friends, family, and business owner friends who reminded me that they had my back and were there to cheer me on along this new journey from day one. I also have to give a special shout-out to Faith who stepped up to help me right away! Between being there as a sounding board, helping support our social media clients, and being the best disco ball holder, she’s been my righthand girl from the beginning and I am just so thankful for her.

So when I look at these photos I see a whole lot more than what meets the eye…

I see courage…

I see persistence…

I see confidence...

And I see a future so bright, that nothing can stop me from where I’m headed next!⭐️✨

Dang am I forever grateful for this shoot! 🥰 To Hannah who is insanely talented and agreed to take a chance on this shoot, which is a little different than her norm. It’s probably not common you get to work with your wedding photographer multiple times in the same year for different projects! To Faith for roadtripping to the east side with me and helping with everythingggg. And to all of my amazing clients who trust me with their projects and in return have supported making my dreams a reality. I. AM. JUST. SO. DANG. GRATEFUL! #Allcapsnecessary

Ok mushy Anna, over and out! ✌️
